Sunday, October 10, 2021 marks World Mental Health Day.

 

In a recently published research study, Department of African American Studies faculty member, Dr. Angel Dunbar, addresses how parents and guardians of black teenagers are able to help adolescents identify and work through underlying emotions of embarrassment and self-blame following racist incidents and discrimination.
